Join WEDIG PA

Becoming a member of WEDIG PA is as simple as acting on your interest in being part of our region's growth and development. With three committees, Business and Infrastructure, Education and Quality of Life, there is something for everyone who would like to become involved in WEDIG PA's efforts.

Our committees meet regularly and implement a variety of projects to improve the area. In the past, these projects have included education symposiums for local high school students, development of a regional sewer plan and creation of five-municipality map. Just some of our plans for the future are a summer festival and a regional recycling center. We are also working to team up with other like-minded groups in communities around the Alle-Kiski Valley. Among these are organizations like the Strongland Chamber of Commerce and the Natrona Comes Together Association.

There are great opportunities to volunteer outside of, and in addition to, committee work as well. WEDIG PA can always use the help of those who are interested in public relations, grant-writing and fundraising, but there are many areas where our staff, board of directors and committees can use a hand.
