WEDIG PA is spearheading regional planning efforts designed to coordinate zoning and permit policies across our member municipalities. The goal?

To create a streamlined, convenient and business-friendly process that will help new and existing companies to develop as best they can. In the meantime, you will find that our member communities have zoning ordinances in place that accomodate many types of business, commericial and residential development. Whatever type of business or housing you are looking for, you will find it in one of our five WEDIG PA communities. 

Just a few of the highlights: 

Lower Burrell features areas ready for retail businesses, while Upper Burrell offers the Westmoreland Business and Research Park. Arnold can provide room for small, specialty shops and New Kensington has many options for professional offices, as well as industrial sites. Allegheny Township not only offers space for businesses, but also recreational pursuits. All of our communities include options for single family and multiple-resident housing.
